PROGRAM SUMMARY

Day 01

Arrival in Cusco and Afternoon City Tour

On your first day, we will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will do the City Tour, visiting Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.

Day 02

Sacred Valley Tour with Connection to Machu Picchu

On this second day, you will enjoy visiting the top tourist sites in the Sacred Valley.

Day 03

Visit to Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco

We will wake up early to visit the hidden jewel of the Incas, Machu Picchu, and in the afternoon we will return to Cusco.

Day 04

Tour to the Maras Salt Mines and Moray and Transfer to the Airport

Discover the mysteries and ancient beauty of Maras and Moray, and in the evening you will be transferred to the airport.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Cusco + City Tour + Qoricancha + Sacsayhuaman + Qenqo + Tambomachay

  • According to your flight arrival time, we will be waiting for you with our private transportation to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
  • 1:00 p.m. approx. we will begin the City Tour and visit the following attractions.
  • First, we will visit the Qoricancha Temple, known as the Temple of the Sun.
  • Then we will head to Sacsayhuamán, one of the archaeological sites known for its megalithic constructions.
  • Visit to the Red Fortress of Puka Pukara and then Tambomachay, the Inca temple dedicated to the element of water.
  • 6:30 p.m. approx. you will be returning to the city of Cusco.
    • Accommodation: Hotel in Cusco.
  • Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
  • 7:30 a.m. Approx. Pickup from your hotel in Cusco and then we will head towards the Sacred Valley, where we will make our first stop at the Taray Viewpoint, where you will enjoy impressive views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
  • Afterwards, we will continue to Pisac, where we will visit its agricultural terraces that have been in use since Inca times and are still preserved on the mountainsides, a legacy of Inca engineering.
  • Buffet lunch in Urubamba at a local restaurant.
  • After lunch, we will head to Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress known for its monumental terraces, temples, and ceremonial water fountains.
  • After visiting Ollantaytambo, we will head to the train station and take the scenic train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting for you at the station to take you to the selected hotel.
    • Meals: Breakfast and buffet lunch.
    • Accommodation: Hotel in Aguas Calientes.
  • Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
  • After breakfast, we will take a short ride on the eco-friendly bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
  • You will have a guided tour of approximately 2 to 3 hours with a private guide.
  • After visiting Machu Picchu, you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes by eco-friendly bus. There, you will have enough time for lunch, and later, according to your train departure time, you must head to the station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
  • Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, you will return to Cusco in a tourist transport, and we will drop you off at the door of your hotel.
    • Meals: Breakfast.
    • Accommodation: Hotel in Cusco.
  • Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
  • 8:00 a.m. approx. Pickup from your hotel in Cusco, then we will head to the Maras Salt Mines, where you can admire the impressive salt terraces in full production. Afterwards, we will continue to Moray to explore the ancient and mysterious circular platforms, believed to have been an Inca agricultural laboratory.
  • The tour ends in Chinchero, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Textile Art Center, observe traditional weaving techniques, and purchase beautiful handmade textiles.
  • We will be returning to Cusco around 2:00 p.m., and at the time you indicate, we will take you to the airport, concluding our services.
