On this first day, we will do the Humantay Lake excursion and then take you to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night.

TRAVEL ITINERARY
Day 01: Cusco | Mollepata | Soraypampa | Humantay Lake | Soraypampa | Ollantaytambo |Aguas Calientes Town
- Early in the morning, our Machu Picchu and Humantay Lake tour begins with pickup from your hotel, accompanied by a friendly greeting, between 3:40 and 4:00 a.m. Once everything is ready, our staff will take you to the designated transport to head toward the district of Mollepata. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, and upon arrival, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast to recharge energy.
- After breakfast, we will board the transport again and continue traveling for about 1 more hour until we reach the picturesque town of Soraypampa. Here, our guide will provide important instructions for the route. From this point, we will begin a hike to Humantay Lake, which takes around 2 hours. The scenery is stunning, with views of the Humantay and Salkantay snow-capped mountains, making every moment worthwhile. Upon reaching Humantay Lake, our guide will offer an explanation and you will have time to take those essential photos.
- After finishing our time there, we will hike back to the town of Soraypampa to board our transport returning to Mollepata, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits us.
- After enjoying lunch and relaxing, our next destination will be the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will board the tourist train that will take us to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes). There, a representative will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel, where you can rest comfortably.
- Note: Our guide will visit you at your hotel to provide instructions for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 02: Aguas Calientes Town | Machu Picchu | Aguas Calientes | Ollantaytambo | Cusco
- After having breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- On this second day in Machu Picchu, sunrise will be our reward in this majestic place. Our tour guide will stop by your hotel and give you some instructions before accompanying you to the ecological bus station. A short 30-minute bus ride will take us to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
- Inside the Inca citadel, we will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours. During this visit, you will feel the unique energy that this mystical place emanates and be amazed by the architectural mastery of ancient cultures that left us an invaluable legacy. Don’t forget to take all the classic photos!
- After exploring Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Machu Picchu by ecological bus. There, you will have free time to enjoy a delicious lunch (not included). You will receive the final instructions from our guide regarding your train ride back from Machu Picchu town, and finally, our staff will be waiting for you near the train station in Ollantaytambo to take you in our transport to the city of Cusco, where our tour will come to an end.
