- Live an adventure full of adrenaline and culture with our ATV tour to Maras and Moray, a unique experience that will allow you to explore the most impressive landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
- Our journey begins early, with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 a.m. to head towards the Cruzpata sector, the starting point of the adventure.
- Upon arrival at our operations base in Cruzpata, our team will provide you with a safety briefing and a short ATV (quad bike) driving practice. Once ready, we will begin the 40-minute ride to the impressive circular terraces of Moray, an enigmatic Inca agricultural laboratory where microclimates were used to adapt crops. Here, we will enjoy a 20-minute guided visit, exploring its historical and architectural importance.
- After our visit to Moray, we will continue our journey to the “Five Glaciers Viewpoint,” a panoramic spot from where you can appreciate the immensity of the Andes mountain range. Then, we will return to the base on a 40-minute ride, where we will leave the ATVs and board our transport to continue towards the Maras Salt Mines.
- The Maras Salt Mines have been used since Inca times for salt extraction and are still active today. This impressive complex has more than 3,000 salt pools filled with saline water, which gradually crystallizes, creating a unique landscape. Here, we will learn about its historical importance, its medicinal benefits, and have the opportunity to purchase natural salt recognized for its therapeutic properties, while also observing the production process.
- After our visit to the Maras Salt Mines, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving around 2:00 p.m., concluding a tour full of adventure, history, and unforgettable landscapes.
