DESCRIPTION OF THE TRIP

In Chinchero, the land of the rainbow, we offer an Andean Wedding Ceremony that transforms a promise into a sacred encounter with nature and tradition. Guided by an Andean master, you will experience an intimate ritual of purification and union: energetic cleansings, the exchange of offerings, and a tribute to the Pachamama and the Apus, all performed with deep respect and ancestral meaning.

This experience is designed for couples seeking more than a celebration: it is an act of recognition between two souls who wish to walk together in balance, gratitude, and commitment. During the ceremony, symbolic elements such as coca leaves, flowers, chants, and a ritual table connect the couple’s intention with the energy of the valley.

After the ritual, we offer the option of a photo session in traditional attire, a toast with local products, and a small gathering with the community to share the joy of the moment. We take care of transportation, ceremonial clothing if desired, and every detail to ensure cultural authenticity.

This ceremony does not replace civil registration; it is a spiritual and symbolic celebration that honors Andean wisdom and creates lasting memories. If you seek a union that speaks to both the heart and the earth, celebrate in Chinchero and take with you more than photos: take an experience that transforms.

PROGRAM SUMMARY

Day 01

Cusco + Chinchero + Huaypo Lagoon + Cusco

Live a unique and transcendental moment by celebrating your union in a mystical setting: the town of Chinchero, considered the "land of the rainbow," surrounded by mountains, lagoons, and ancestral energy.

In this ritual, the Andean priests (paqos) will guide the ceremony of the union of two souls, in harmony with Pachamama and the sacred Apus that protect the Sacred Valley.

Andean Wedding Itinerary

CUSCO + CHINCHERO + HUAYPO LAGOON + CUSCO

  • In the heart of the Andes, the village of Chinchero preserves a deep spiritual tradition that celebrates the union of couples in a unique and sacred way. This experience is more than a ritual: it is an encounter with the Andean worldview, where love is blessed in harmony with the Pachamama and the Apus.
  • Upon arrival, the couple is welcomed by an Andean master (paqo), who opens the space with a special greeting and explains the meaning of the ceremony. Everything begins with an energetic cleansing using incense smoke, flower petals, and coca leaves, purifying the soul and preparing the heart.
  • At the center of the ritual, an Andean ceremonial table or offering is prepared, where seeds, colorful yarns, sweets, and natural elements symbolizing abundance and gratitude are placed. The paqo shares teachings about the balance between the masculine and the feminine, reminding that true union is born from a harmonious relationship.
  • The couple exchanges sacred symbols of commitment rings, woven pieces, seeds, or other meaningful items sealing a spiritual bond before the community and nature. The offering is then given to the earth as a gesture of gratitude, invoking protection and prosperity. Traditional Andean instruments accompany this moment, filling it with energy and connection.
  • The experience continues with a photo session in traditional attire, allowing the couple to capture this special day with the Andean landscapes as a backdrop. Afterwards, a community lunch offers the chance to share with local residents, savor authentic flavors, and experience the richness of living culture.
  • Finally, the return to Cusco brings this experience to a close, leaving a deep impression as the couple celebrates a union where ancestral tradition and love come together.
    • Meals: Lunch in the Community.
