TRAVEL ITINERARY
Tour to the Inca Bridge Qeswachaka – Private Service
- We will pick you up early from the hotel between 4:20 and 4:50 a.m. At approximately 5:00 a.m., we will begin the trip in our tourist transportation through some districts of the city of Cusco heading south.
- Our first stop will be at Rumi Punku, which was one of the main entry points to Cusco in Inca times for all travelers who came from the Qollasuyo region. After an hour of travel, we will stop at the Combapata viewpoint, where you can enjoy its beautiful landscapes and, above all, observe the union of the Salcca River with the Vilcanota River, giving rise to the famous sacred river of the Incas.
- We will continue our trip to Yanaoca, one of the eight districts of the province of Canas, in the department of Cusco. Subsequently, we will continue our tour for 30 more minutes until we reach the Q’iwe district, where the last Inca bridge, Q’eswachaka, is located, built with plant fiber and with a length of 28.67 meters.
- After appreciating the first views of the Inca bridge, we will begin to descend the steps or stairs before reaching the place where it is located. There we will have time to explore and cross it. After feeling the adrenaline of crossing the bridge, our guide will begin with an explanation of the construction process and its use.
- After the visit, we will return to Yanaoca, where we will enjoy our lunch. After lunch, we will continue our tour and visit the Circuit of the 4 Lagoons: Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopia and Pomacanchi. On this circuit, we will be able to appreciate a great variety of regional flora and fauna, in addition to observing the rich Andean culture along the way.
- After the brief visit to each of the lagoons, we will return to the city of Cusco in our tourist transportation, which will take approximately 2 hours. We will arrive in Cusco around 5:00 p.m.
