PROGRAM SUMMARY
Airport Arrival / Cusco / City Tour / Cusco
We will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will do the City Tour, visiting Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. This day will also help you adapt to Cusco’s altitude (3,350 m.a.s.l.).
Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes
We will visit Chinchero with its textile tradition, Pisac with its agricultural terraces, have lunch in Urubamba, and explore the fortress of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco
We will wake up early to visit the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. After the guided tour, we will return to Cusco by train and ground transportation.
TRAVEL ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrival in Cusco + City Tour + Qoricancha + Sacsayhuaman + Tambomachay
- With a warm welcome to Cusco, we are excited to meet you at the airport and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day will be dedicated to resting and adapting to the altitude. Remember! Cusco is located at 3,350 meters above sea level.
- We will start this day full of energy with our City Tour. Our staff will pick you up from your hotel at around 1:00 p.m. Once ready, we will head to the Qoricancha Temple, where we will dive into part of the region’s history that will prepare us for even more incredible sites.
- Next, we will head to Sacsayhuamán, one of the archaeological sites known for its megalithic constructions, where our guide will give us a brief explanation and you will have time to take those inevitable photographs. After visiting this place, we will continue to Puka Pukara, known for the reddish color of its structures. Here, you will learn much more thanks to our tour guide.
- Our final stop will be Tambomachay, where our guide will give the last explanations about the site, concluding this day of the trip.

Day 02: Sacred Valley + Pisac + Ollantaytambo + Aguas Calientes

- Your adventure with our 3-Day Machu Picchu Tour begins with a warm welcome and pickup from your hotel at around 7:30 a.m. We will start our journey to Pisac. On the way, we will stop at the Taray Viewpoint to capture stunning photographs of the valley stretching out below us. Upon arrival in Pisac, we will be amazed by the grandeur of its agricultural terraces, still preserved on the mountainsides—a true legacy of Inca engineering.
- To recharge our energy and continue our journey, we will head to Urubamba, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch featuring traditional regional dishes. We will savor the fresh ingredients and unique flavors of Peruvian cuisine.
- With a full stomach and renewed spirit, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, an imposing Inca fortress known for its monumental terraces, temples, and ceremonial water fountains. We will walk through its passageways and admire the majesty of this citadel, feeling the connection with the past and the greatness of the Inca Empire.
- From Ollantaytambo, we will board a train that will take us on a picturesque 2-hour journey to the town of Aguas Calientes. During the trip, we will enjoy the beauty of the Andean landscape and bid farewell to the Sacred Valley with hearts full of pleasant memories.
- Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our attentive staff will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 03: Archaeological wonder + Machu Picchu + Cusco
- Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- On this second day of our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour, sunrise will be our reward in a majestic place. After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up and give you some instructions before accompanying you to the Ecological Bus station. A short 30-minute bus ride will take us to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
- Inside the Inca citadel, we will embark on a guided tour of approximately two hours. During this visit, you will feel the unique energy that emanates from this mystical place and marvel at the architectural achievements of the ancient cultures that left us an invaluable legacy.
- After exploring Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Machu Picchu by Ecological Bus. There, you will have free time to enjoy a delicious lunch (at your own expense). You will also receive final instructions from our guide regarding your return train from the town of Machu Picchu.
- Finally, our staff will be waiting near the Ollantaytambo train station to transfer you back to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel door.
