PROGRAM SUMMARY
Airport Arrival / Cusco / City Tour / Cusco
We will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will do the City Tour, visiting Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. This day will also help you adapt to Cusco’s altitude (3,350 m.a.s.l.).
Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes
We will visit Chinchero with its textile tradition, Pisac with its agricultural terraces, have lunch in Urubamba, and explore the fortress of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco
We will wake up early to visit the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. After the guided tour, we will return to Cusco by train and ground transportation.
TRAVEL ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrival in Cusco + City Tour + Qoricancha + Sacsayhuaman + Tambomachay
- We will start with your pickup from the airport and transfer to your hotel. Cusco is located at 3,350 meters above sea level.
- In the afternoon, we will begin the City Tour.
- Once ready, we will head to the Qoricancha Temple, where we will delve into part of the region’s history, preparing us to visit even more amazing places.

Then we will continue to Saqsayhuaman, one of the archaeological sites known for its megalithic constructions, where our guide will give you a brief explanation and you will have time to take those unmissable photos.
After visiting this place, we will head to Puka Pukara, known for the reddish color of its structures, where you will learn much more thanks to our tour guide. -
Our last stop will be Tambomachay, where our guide will give you the final explanations about the site, and with this we will conclude this day of the trip.

Day 02: Sacred Valley + Pisac + Ollantaytambo + Aguas Calientes
- After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 7:30 a.m. and begin our journey to Pisac. On the way, we will stop at the Taray Viewpoint to capture stunning photos of the valley stretching out below us. Upon arrival in Pisac, we will be amazed by the grandeur of its agricultural terraces, which are still preserved on the mountainsides, a true legacy of Inca engineering.
- To recharge energy and continue our tour, we will head to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
- Then we will continue to Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress known for its monumental terraces, temples, and ceremonial water fountains.
- From Ollantaytambo, we will take a train that will bring us on a journey of approximately 2 hours to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our attentive staff will be waiting to escort you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 03: Archaeological wonder + Machu Picchu + Cusco
- After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up and give you some instructions before accompanying you to the ecological bus station. A short 30-minute ride on the ecological bus will take us to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu.
- Inside the Inca citadel, we will begin a guided tour of approximately 2 to 3 hours. During this visit, you will feel the unique energy that this mystical place radiates.
- After exploring Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes) by ecological bus. There, you will have free time to enjoy a delicious lunch (not included).

Finally, our staff will be waiting near the train station in Ollantaytambo to take you back to Cusco, where we will drop you off at the door of your hotel.

Visitar el Machu Pichu ha estado en mi lista de deseos durante casi una década y finalmente sucedió! Fue una experiencia surrealista ver las ruinas en la cima de la montaña a casi 8000 pies de altitud fue nada menos que increíble! Me había sentado y mirado fijamente la vista durante más de una hora y cuando Sam, mi guía turístico dijo que era hora de irse, se sintió como si solo hubieran pasado unos minutos. Y hablando de eso, Sam fue una enciclopedia andante de Machu Pichu y toda la historia incaica y peruana. Vino preparado con un folleto para explicar los lugares y eventos clave que llevaron a cómo y por qué Machu Pichu se paró en la cima de esas montañas. El único inconveniente fue que reservé tarde y solo experimenté el punto de vista y no tuve la oportunidad de caminar dentro de la ciudad.
