This tour will take you to discover Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, and Humantay Lake, all in 7 days. Welcome to Cusco and in the afternoon enjoy the City Tour of Cusco.

Day 02

Cusco / Taray Viewpoint / Pisac / Salt Mines / Ollantaytambo / Aguas Calientes

We will take the Sacred Valley Tour and in the afternoon travel by train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.

Day 03

Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Aguas Calientes / Ollantaytambo / Cusco

On this day, we will visit the Wonder of the World, Machu Picchu, and in the afternoon return to Cusco.

Day 04

Cusco / Mollepata / Soraypampa / Humantay Lake / Soraypampa / Mollepata / Cusco

This day we will have our first mountain hike, for which we will already be better acclimated.

Day 05

Cusco / Moray / Maras Salt Mines / Chinchero / Cusco

As a lighter day, we will take the half-day tour to the Maras Salt Mines and Moray.

Day 06

Day 07

Free Day in Cusco / Airport Transfer

You will have a free day in Cusco to explore the city at your own pace, and at the indicated time we will transfer you to the airport for your return flight.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival Airport + City Tour + Qoricancha + Sacsayhuaman + Tambomachay

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from the airport with a warm welcome and take you to your hotel in private transport.
We begin this day full of energy to start our Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, and Humantay Lake tour. Our staff will pick you up from your hotel with a friendly greeting.
Once ready, we will head to the Qoricancha Temple, where we will delve into part of the region’s history to prepare us for visiting more incredible places.
We will then continue to Saqsayhuamán, one of the archaeological sites known for its megalithic structures. Here, our guide will provide a brief explanation, and you will have time to take those inevitable photos.
After visiting this site, we will head to Puka Pukara, known for the reddish color of its constructions. Here, you will learn much more thanks to our tour guide.
Our last stop will be Tambomachay, where our guide will give you the final explanations of the site, concluding this day of the trip.

Day 02: Cusco + Sacred Valley With Connection To Machu Picchu + Pisac + Ollantaytambo

Your adventure with our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour begins with a warm greeting and pickup from your hotel at approximately 7:30 a.m. Together we will head toward the Sacred Valley, where our first stop will be Chinchero, one of the most popular towns in the region, famous for its rich textile history.
After this enriching visit, we will continue our journey to Pisac. On the way, we will stop at the Taray Viewpoint to capture stunning photos of the valley stretching below us. Upon arrival in Pisac, we will marvel at the grandeur of its agricultural terraces, still preserved on the mountainsides—a legacy of Inca engineering.
To recharge and continue our tour, we will head to Urubamba, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch of traditional regional dishes. We will savor fresh ingredients and the unique flavor of Peruvian cuisine.
With full stomachs and renewed spirits, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, an imposing Inca fortress known for its monumental terraces, temples, and ceremonial water fountains. We will walk through its passageways and admire the majesty of this citadel, feeling the connection to the past and the greatness of the Inca Empire.
From Ollantaytambo, we will take a train on a scenic journey of approximately 2 hours to the town of Machu Picchu, also known as Aguas Calientes. During the ride, we will enjoy the beauty of the Andean landscape and bid farewell to the Sacred Valley with hearts full of wonderful memories.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our attentive staff will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest. You may use the remaining time to explore the town’s surroundings or simply relax and prepare for the exciting experience that awaits you the following day: the visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

Day 03: Visit To Machu Picchu + Regreso A Cusco

On this third day of our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour, the sunrise will be our reward in a majestic place. After breakfast, our tour guide will meet you and give you some instructions before accompanying you to the Eco Bus station. A short 30-minute bus ride will take us to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
Inside the Inca citadel, we will begin a guided tour of approximately two hours. During this visit, you will feel the unique energy that emanates from this mystical place and marvel at the architectural mastery of the ancient cultures that left us an invaluable legacy.
After exploring Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Machu Picchu by Eco Bus. There, you will have free time to enjoy a delicious lunch (on your own). You will also receive final instructions from our guide about your train back from Machu Picchu town. Finally, our staff will be waiting near the Ollantaytambo train station to take you in our transport back to the city of Cusco, where we will drop you off at the door of your hotel.

Day 04: Cusco + Hike to Humantay Lagoon

Early in the morning, we will depart from Cusco to the picturesque town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy an energizing breakfast with views of the Andean valleys. After a short rest, we will continue by transport until reaching Soraypampa (3,900 m.a.s.l.), the starting point of our hike.
The hike to Humantay Lake takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, following trails surrounded by imposing mountains and observing the biodiversity of the area, where high-Andean birds, native flora, and herds of llamas and alpacas predominate.
Upon reaching the top (4,200 m.a.s.l.), we will be rewarded with the spectacular view of Humantay Lake, famous for the intense turquoise color of its waters, which contrast with the eternal snow of the mountain. Here, we will have time to relax, take photos, and connect with the mystical energy of the place.
After this unique moment, we will begin our descent back to Soraypampa along the same path. Then, we will return to Mollepata to enjoy a comforting lunch before heading back to the city of Cusco, arriving in the afternoon.

Day 05: Cusco + Chinchero + Salinas de Maras and Moray

On this magnificent day, our team will pick you up at approximately 8:00 a.m. Once ready, our staff will take you to our transport to head toward the picturesque town of Chinchero. There, we will be able to admire its beautiful colonial church and an incredible archaeological site.
We will also have the opportunity to visit one of the textile centers, where we will be shown how these fabrics are made, still using traditional methods.
Next, we will head to the Maras Salt Mines, where we will find more than 3,000 salt pools belonging to local families. Here, you will also be able to buy this salt in small quantities and taste it.
Our last stop will be Moray, known for its incredible circular terraces that remain a mystery to this day. As in every destination, our guide will provide explanations and share the most interesting details about this site.
Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, concluding this full day of exploration.

Day 06: Cusco + Rainbow Mountain Hike

We will begin the adventure very early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco to head by tourist transport to the district of Cusipata, a picturesque Andean town surrounded by mountains. There, we will enjoy a buffet breakfast that will give us the necessary energy for the hike.
We will then continue to the point known as Llaqto, from where we will begin the hike to Rainbow Mountain. The route takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, gradually ascending until reaching over 5,000 m.a.s.l.
During the hike, you will witness unique landscapes: llamas and alpacas grazing freely, local communities in traditional clothing, and the majesty of the Andean mountain range with its natural hues.
Upon reaching the summit, the long-awaited reward awaits you: the impressive panoramic view of Vinicunca, a mountain that dazzles with the variety of colors naturally formed over millions of years. You will have plenty of time to take in the scenery, capture photos, and connect with the energy of this sacred destination for the Andean people.
After the visit, we will begin the descent to return to Cusipata, where a comforting lunch awaits us. Finally, we will head back to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon with hearts full of unforgettable landscapes.

Day 07: Free Day in Cusco + Transfer to the Airport
