PROGRAM SUMMARY
Airport Arrival / Cusco / City Tour / Cusco
On your first day, we will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will take the City Tour, visiting Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.
Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes
On this day, we will visit Pisac and its traditional market. After lunch, we will head to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco
We will wake up early to visit the hidden jewel of the Incas, Machu Picchu, and in the afternoon return to Cusco.
Cusco / Maras and Moray / Cusco
Today we will live a great experience visiting the Maras Salt Mines, the archaeological complex of Moray, and Chinchero on a half-day tour.
Cusco / Rainbow Mountain / Cusco
On this day, we will wake up early to visit one of the most visited attractions in Peru: the beautiful Rainbow Mountain.
Cusco / Airport Transfer
We will have the day free before transferring you to the airport, concluding our services.
Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco + City Tour + Qoricancha + Sacsayhuaman + Tambomachay
- Our adventure begins with pickup from the Cusco airport or bus terminal, followed by transfer to your hotel in Cusco. The rest of the day will be free to acclimatize to the city’s altitude (3,400 m / 11,154 ft).
(We recommend that your flight to Cusco be in the morning or a day earlier).
- In the afternoon, we will take the Cusco City Tour as part of the acclimatization. We will pick you up at your hotel at 12:50 p.m. and then head to Cusco’s Plaza Mayor, where our tour will begin.
- The first site we will visit is Qoricancha, known as the “Temple of the Sun,” the most important temple of the Inca Empire.
- Then, by private transport, we will head to the upper part of the city to visit Sacsayhuamán, the great Inca fortress with its impressive cyclopean walls.
- Next, we will visit the beautiful eucalyptus forest of Qenqo and stop at the Cristo Blanco viewpoint, where we will enjoy spectacular views of the city of Cusco.
- Afterwards, we will continue to Pukapukara, and our final stop will be Tambomachay, known as the “Temple dedicated to Water.”
- Finally, we will return to Cusco around 6:30 p.m., where we will drop you off near the Plaza Mayor so you can have dinner and then rest for the next day’s tour.

Day 2: Cusco + Taray Viewpoint + Pisac + Ollantaytambo + Aguas Calientes
- Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
- Our tour will begin with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 7:30 a.m. by our private tourist transport. We will then head to our first stop, Pisac. On the way, we will make a brief stop at the Taray viewpoint, where we can appreciate the magnificent landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
- Once in Pisac, we will visit its archaeological complex: full of history in every corner, with terraces finely built in perfect harmony on the mountains, temples aligned with the stars, and of course, its famous handicraft market.
- We will then cross the valley to reach the town of Urubamba, where we will stop for lunch at a renowned tourist restaurant, enjoying a variety of unique dishes and flavors that only an excellent restaurant can offer.
- After lunch, we will continue to visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a place that stands out for the countless mysteries of its constructions.
- At the end of the tour in Ollantaytambo, we will head directly to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, a representative of the agency will be waiting with a sign bearing your name and will escort you to your reserved hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- At the hotel, we will coordinate some details of the next day’s Machu Picchu tour. Afterwards, you will have a free evening to enjoy dinner and stroll around the town.

Day 3 - Machu Picchu + Aguas Calientes + Cusco
- Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- We will visit the Llaqta of Machu Picchu, starting the day early with breakfast before heading with our guide to the bus station. From there, we will take a 30-minute ride up the mountain to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
- Upon arrival, we will triumphantly enter the citadel of Machu Picchu and enjoy a private guided tour that will enhance your experience for about 2 hours, exploring the most important sectors such as the Guardian’s House, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Sacred Plaza, and more.
- After visiting Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, depending on your train’s departure time, you will head to the station and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and finally to the city of Cusco, where you will be dropped off at the door of your accommodation.

Day 4: Cusco + Maras Village + Maras Salt Mines + Moray + Cusco

- On the way, we will enjoy beautiful landscapes surrounded by majestic glaciers. The tour begins in the city of Cusco, and then we will pass through the town of Maras, where we can see its colonial-style streets and doorways.
- We will visit the agricultural terraces of Moray, a set of circular terraces descending up to 150 m in depth, built on natural hills. According to historians, they were an Inca agricultural laboratory. They feature irrigation channels, and each level represents a distinct microclimate. The annual average temperature between the top and bottom levels varies by up to 15 °C.
- Finally, we will visit the Maras Salt Mines, an impressive site with more than 2,000 salt pools, which are still worked today by local families.
- At the end of this visit, we will return to the city of Cusco. Our tourist transport will drop us off in the city center or, if it is a private service, we will finish at your hotel around 2:00 p.m.

Day 5: Cusco + Cusipata + Phulawasipata + Montaña Arco Iris + Cusipata + Cusco
- The Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca or Winicunca, is one of the most visited natural attractions in Peru. Our Rainbow Mountain tour via Cusipata begins with pickup between 4:20 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., depending on the location of your hotel in Cusco. Once everyone is on board, we will head south of Cusco on a 2-hour drive to Cusipata, where we will have breakfast. We will then continue for another hour by minivan, during which we can observe llamas, alpacas, and local residents along the way.
- Phulawasipata will be our starting point. From here, we will begin a hike of approximately 2 hours, depending on the walking pace. You will also have the option to rent a horse if you are not feeling well (keep in mind that Vinicunca Mountain is located at more than 5,000 meters above sea level).
- From this point, we will have the best view of the surrounding mountains, and in front of us we will see the highest mountain in Cusco, called Ausangate, standing at 6,400 m / 20,944 ft.
- After this, we will descend for about 1 hour to take our transport back to Cusipata for lunch. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. This concludes our excursion to this wonderful destination that you cannot miss during your visit to Cusco.

Day 6: Free day + Transfer to the airport

- On this last day in Cusco, you can take the morning to rest or choose to stroll through the city, visiting Cusco’s main squares, streets, and markets. After a delicious breakfast, you will have the rest of the morning free to relax or go for a walk. If you opt for the walking tour, you will be able to visit the following places:

- The Twelve-Angle Stone
