  • From the very first moment, our Illa Kuntur Travel team will be waiting for you at Cusco Airport with a personalized sign to give you a warm welcome. We will transfer you to the selected hotel, where you will enjoy a traditional coca tea, perfect to begin your adaptation to the altitude.
  • After lunch, at the time previously coordinated by your travel agent, we will start a guided tour at 1:00 p.m., designed for you to discover the essence of the capital of the Inca Empire.
  • During this tour we will visit:
    • Qoricancha – Temple of the Sun: considered the most important religious center of the Tawantinsuyo, where the perfection of Inca architecture coexists with colonial art.

  • At the time indicated by your travel agent, Illa Kuntur Travel & Wellness will pick you up from your hotel to begin this incredible adventure at 7:30 a.m. Our journey starts on a paved road heading to the picturesque town of Pisac, located 32 km from Cusco.
  • Pisac is an authentic Andean town, known for its artisan tradition and its impressive archaeological site. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore its famous handicraft market, where you can buy unique souvenirs and watch the creation of traditional pieces.
  • Our next destination will be Urubamba, where we will stop to enjoy a buffet lunch at the cozy “Tunupa” restaurant, which offers a delicious selection of typical regional dishes in a relaxing atmosphere.
  • In the afternoon, we will head to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town still inhabited today. Here we will explain its majestic archaeological complex, an impressive construction that in its time functioned as an agricultural, administrative, social, religious, and military center within the Tahuantinsuyo.
  • At the end of the visit, you will head to the train station to board the service departing at 4:36 p.m. bound for Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our Illa Kuntur Travel & Wellness staff will be waiting to transfer you to your selected hotel, ensuring your experience is comfortable and worry-free.

  • In coordination with your expert guide, who will have given you an orientation briefing the previous afternoon, you will board the ecological tourist bus that ascends for about 30 minutes along a road surrounded by nature until reaching the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu, located at 2,450 m.a.s.l.
  • Once at the Wonder of the World, you will begin a guided tour of 2 to 3 hours, exploring the main archaeological sectors:
    • The ceremonial temples.
    • The residential areas.
    • The viewpoints offering spectacular views of the citadel and surrounding mountains.
  • You will have time to photograph every corner, connect with the energy of the place, and admire up close the perfection of Inca architecture.
  • After the visit, you will descend again to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, perfect for recharging before the return.

  • At 6:20 a.m., our team will promptly pick you up to take you to the tourist terminal, where you will board the bus that connects Cusco with Puno (3,818 m.a.s.l.). This trip is not just a transfer: it is a cultural and scenic journey known as the Route of the Sun, combining history, spirituality, and the majesty of the Andean mountain range.
  • Along the way, we will make several stops:
    • Andahuaylillas – The Sistine Chapel of the Americas, a 17th-century colonial temple, famous for its frescoes, baroque paintings, and its impressive altar covered in gold leaf.
    • Raqchi – Temple of Wiracocha, an imposing archaeological complex dedicated to the creator deity.
    • Buffet lunch in Sicuani – at a local restaurant you will enjoy a varied buffet of typical Andean dishes, ideal to regain energy halfway through the route.
    • La Raya – 4,335 m.a.s.l., the highest point of the journey, where snow-capped mountains, endless valleys, and herds of llamas and alpacas create a postcard-worthy landscape.
    • Pucará – Lithic Museum and Pucará Bulls, a pre-Inca site where you will see stone sculptures representing ancient deities and traditions, as well as learn the origin of the famous “Pucará bulls,” a symbol of protection and prosperity in Andean homes.
  • After this unforgettable route, we will finally arrive in Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. There, our staff will welcome and transfer you to your hotel, ensuring a safe and comfortable arrival.

  • Around 8:00 a.m., we will arrive at the amazing Floating Islands of the Uros, an impressive set of artificial islands skillfully built with totora reeds and home to the Uros people for centuries.
  • During the visit, your guide will provide a fascinating explanation about:
