TRAVEL ITINERARY

DAY 1: Airport + Lima + Barranco + Huaca Pucllana + Plaza de Armas

  • Upon your arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Lima.
  • In the afternoon, you will have the option to take a tour of Barranco, visiting the Bridge of Sighs, La Ermita, and places associated with Chabuca Granda.
  • The tour continues to Miraflores, where you will enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean from the Love Park and see Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pre-Inca ceremonial center.
  • Then, you will head to the Historic Center of Lima, passing important buildings such as the Palace of Justice and the Naval Heroes Promenade, until you reach the Main Square, surrounded by its main colonial monuments.
  • At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel to rest.

  • Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport to board your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel, where you can enjoy a coca tea to help with acclimatization.
  • After lunch, at the scheduled time, you will begin the city tour by visiting the Temple of the Sun, or Qoricancha.
  • Then, you will visit the archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, important remains from the Inca period.
  • At 6:30 p.m., you will return to the city to rest at your hotel.

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
  • At 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up from the hotel to begin the Sacred Valley tour, visiting the town of Pisac and its archaeological complex, with Inca terraces and a traditional handicraft market.
  • Around midday, we will arrive in Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch at Tunupa Restaurant.
  • In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, its archaeological complex, and the still-inhabited Inca town. Then, we will head to the train station.
  • At 4:36 p.m., you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, we will accompany you to your hotel to rest.

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
  • After breakfast, in coordination with your guide, you will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to the citadel of Machu Picchu (approx. 30 minutes).
  • At the scheduled time, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours through the main points of Machu Picchu.
  • At the end of the tour, you will have free time to take photos and enjoy the site. Then you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch on your own before boarding the return train.
  • In the afternoon, you will take the Expedition or Voyager train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our team will transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

  • After enjoying a delicious breakfast (box breakfast or takeaway breakfast).
  • At 6:20 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the tourist bus station to depart for Puno (3,818 m a.s.l.), on a journey with beautiful Andean landscapes.
  • The bus is equipped with comfortable seats, an onboard restroom, an experienced driver, a bilingual guide, and an onboard attendant. Along the way, we will visit the Church of Andahuaylillas, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America.”
  • We will then arrive in Raqchi to visit the Temple of Wiracocha and continue on to Sicuani, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch.
  • The journey continues to La Raya (4,335 m a.s.l.), the highest point of the route, and then to Pucará, famous for the Toritos de Pucará and its Lithic Museum.
  • In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Puno, where our team will transfer you to your hotel to rest and get ready for the Lake Titicaca experience.
    • Meals: Breakfast and buffet lunch.
    • Accommodation: Hotel in Puno.
  • After enjoying a good breakfast at the hotel in Puno.
  • Between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m., we will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the port of Puno, where you will board a tourist boat to the floating Uros Islands (approx. 50 minutes by boat) to learn about their way of life and traditions on Lake Titicaca.
  • We will then continue to Taquile Island, renowned for its textiles and ancestral culture. Upon arrival, we will walk to the Main Square, where you will have free time to explore the island and shop for handicrafts.
  • At 12:40 p.m., you will enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant with a view of the lake. At 2:30 p.m., we will begin the return to Puno, arriving at the port around 4:00 p.m.
  • From there, we will take you back to your hotel or to the city center. You will have time for dinner and to stroll around the main square, and later we will pick you up to take you to the bus terminal to board your bus to Arequipa.

  • Arrival in Arequipa around 5:00 a.m., where we will pick you up from the bus terminal and transfer you to your selected hotel in Arequipa.
  • In the afternoon, enjoy a unique experience visiting the sillar quarries, the volcanic stone that gives identity to Arequipa’s famous white architecture.
  • During the tour, you will see the work of the master stonemasons, admire carved sculptures, and walk through the impressive Culebrillas Canyon, surrounded by unique natural rock formations.
  • The tour ends at the Yanahuara Viewpoint, where, depending on the season, you can see the imposing Misti Volcano, among others.
  • At the end of the tour, you will return to the hotel to rest and enjoy a free evening to spend time in Arequipa’s beautiful main square.

  • At the start of the day, after breakfast at your hotel in Arequipa, you will get ready for one of the most impressive experiences of the trip: the journey to the majestic Colca Canyon.
  • In the morning, you will begin a trip of approximately 6 hours to the Colca Canyon, considered one of the deepest in the world, with more than 3,400 meters of depth. On the way, you will cross Pampa Cañahuas, located within the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where you can observe vicuñas and alpacas in their natural habitat while the guide shares details about Andean wildlife and the surrounding environment.
  • The route will reach its highest point at 4,900 m a.s.l., from where you will enjoy panoramic views of the mountain range and the high plateau. You will also see ancient pre-Inca agricultural terraces, still worked by the descendants of the Collagua people, a true example of harmony between culture and nature.
  • Upon arrival in the Colca Valley, you will be transferred to your hotel in Chivay, where you can rest and acclimatize to the altitude. In the afternoon, we suggest relaxing and enjoying the surroundings or taking a gentle walk around the town.
  • If you wish, you can visit the nearby hot springs, ideal for relaxing and recharging your energy for the next day’s activities.

  • After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin a new day of exploration in the majestic Colca Valley.
  • At sunrise, you will travel to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, the best place to observe the impressive Andean condor as it soars over the deep Colca Canyon.
  • From this privileged spot, you will enjoy a unique natural spectacle, seeing this majestic bird up close, a true symbol of the Andes.
  • On the way back, you will visit picturesque traditional towns such as Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma, and Maca, where you can admire their colonial churches, typical squares, and ancestral customs.
  • In the afternoon, you will return to the historic “White City” of Arequipa, enjoying beautiful Andean landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, you will have free time to rest or continue exploring the city.
  • At night, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus terminal, where you will board a sleeper bus to Nasca for a comfortable overnight journey.

  • Upon arriving in Nasca around 6:00 a.m., you will have time to rest after the overnight trip and enjoy breakfast at a recommended restaurant before starting the day’s activities.
  • At the scheduled time, we will pick you up and transfer you to the Nasca airfield, where you will experience one of the most impressive moments of your trip: the flight over the enigmatic Nasca Lines.
  • From the air, you will be able to admire the famous geometric and zoomorphic figures on the pampas of San José, which, according to Dr. María Reiche, may form part of a large astronomical calendar.
  • During the flight, which lasts approximately 30 to 35 minutes, you will see 12 iconic geoglyphs, such as the whale, the monkey, the condor, the spider, the hummingbird, and the mysterious “Astronaut.”
  • In the afternoon, you will board a bus to Paracas (approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, our team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, where you can rest and recharge for the following day.

Health and Altitude Recommendations
