TRIP DESCRIPTION

The Clay Healing Experience is a living ancestral experience guided by the master ceramist Tturo Maki, inviting participants to reconnect with Pachamama and the Apus through creation. During the session, you will craft ceremonial pieces inspired by ancient rituals dedicated to the God Inti, Killa, and Mother Earth, accompanied by ancestral sounds such as the pututu and ceramic flutes. More than an art workshop, it is a psychotherapeutic wellness process that helps release emotions, balance feelings, and strengthen self-esteem. Clay, due to its transformative nature, awakens a sense of control, creativity, and inner change, becoming a powerful vehicle for transformation and healing, enriched by the spiritual wisdom of the ancient Incas.

PROGRAM SUMMARY

Day 01

Clay Healing and Ancestral Sounds in the Sacred Valley

We will begin with pickup from the participants’ hotel in Cusco and transfer to the workshop of Tturo Maki, master ceramist of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival, we will have a brief welcome and introduction to the ancestral practice of clay healing, connecting with Pachamama and the Apus through their energy. Accompanied by ancestral sounds such as the pututu and ceramic flutes, the facilitator will explain the ceremonial meaning of the pieces created for rituals dedicated to the God Inti, Killa, and Mother Earth.

Then, each participant will work with clay to shape their own ceremonial object, experiencing a therapeutic process that invites them to release emotions, balance feelings, and strengthen self-esteem. The transformative nature of clay will awaken creativity and a sense of inner control, turning the experience into a deep exercise of self-knowledge and healing. We will close with a guided reflection space and farewell before returning to Cusco.
