1. Playa Catarindo
Located just 2 kilometers (approx. 1.2 miles) from the district of Mollendo, in the province of Islay, Catarindo beach is a hidden gem that combines rocky landscapes, impressive cliffs, and a very fine white sand strip. Its waters are calm, ideal for swimming, diving, artisanal fishing, or taking a boat ride around the bay.
During the summer (January to March), this beach becomes a very popular spot for local families. There are basic services like umbrella rental, parking, and small restaurants offering ceviche, chicharrones, and other seafood delicacies. Due to its small size, it can get very crowded on weekends.
How to get there: From Mollendo, you can take a taxi or mototaxi (approx. cost S/.5).

2. Playa Tanaka
