Access to Machu Picchu is regulated by the Ministry of Culture, which makes around 1,000 tickets available daily for on-site purchase exclusively in the town of Aguas Calientes (one day before entry). This option allows you to buy your ticket directly by presenting an official ID (passport or national ID). It is important to keep in mind the following:

- Tickets are sold only at the official point in Aguas Calientes.

The tour begins early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. By tourist bus, we will head to Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will receive guidance on the process of purchasing entrance tickets for Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu / Cusco
In the morning, according to the time assigned on your ticket, you will enjoy a guided visit to Machu Picchu. At the end, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, then take the train back to Ollantaytambo and continue with the transfer to Cusco.

DAY 1: CUSCO + OLLANTAYTAMBO + AGUAS CALIENTES
- The experience begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco as we head to the train station in Ollantaytambo.
- From there, you will embark on a beautiful tourist train journey of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, surrounded by Andean landscapes and spectacular views of the Urubamba River.
- Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a representative from Illa Kuntur Travel will welcome you with personalized assistance. We will accompany you to the Ministry of Culture, where you can purchase your entrance ticket to Machu Picchu according to the availability of schedules and circuits.
- With your ticket secured, a meeting with your local guide will be arranged to define the exact time of the sanctuary visit for the following day.

- Upon entering, you will begin an unforgettable experience alongside our specialized guide, who will lead you through the most important sectors of the sanctuary. During the tour (approximately 2 to 3 hours), you will discover the history, the Andean worldview, and the enigmatic construction methods that have made Machu Picchu one of the Wonders of the World.
