Over 6 days, you will visit the most important places in Cusco: a City Tour to help you acclimatize to the altitude, the Sacred Valley, an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, and Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) with its multicolored formations.

PROGRAM SUMMARY
Airport Arrival / Cusco / City Tour / Cusco
On your first day, we will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will take the City Tour, visiting Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.
Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes
On this day, we will visit Pisac and its traditional market. After lunch, we will head to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco
We will wake up early to visit the hidden jewel of the Incas, Machu Picchu, and in the afternoon return to Cusco.
Cusco / Maras and Moray / Cusco
We will live a great experience visiting the Maras Salt Mines, the archaeological complex of Moray, and Chinchero on a half-day tour.
Cusco / Rainbow Mountain / Cusco
On this day, we will wake up early to visit one of the most visited attractions in Peru: the beautiful Rainbow Mountain.
Cusco / Airport Transfer
We will have the day free before transferring you to the airport, concluding our services.
Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco + City Tour + Qoricancha + Sacsayhuamán + Tambomachay
- Pick-up from the Cusco airport or bus terminal and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to acclimatize to the altitude (3,400 m / 11,155 ft).
- In the afternoon, we will do the Cusco City Tour. Pick-up from your hotel at 12:50 p.m. and departure from the Main Square.
- We will visit Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the most important religious complex of the Inca Empire (Tahuantinsuyo).
- We will go up to Sacsayhuamán to see the Inca fortress with its massive stone walls.
- We will continue to the eucalyptus forest in Qenqo and make a stop at the Cristo Blanco viewpoint, with beautiful views over the city of Cusco.
- After that, we will visit Pukapukara and Tambomachay (Temple of Water).
- Return to Cusco around 6:30 p.m. We will drop you off near the Main Square.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Cusco.
Day 2: Cusco + Taray Viewpoint + Pisac + Ollantaytambo + Aguas Calientes
- Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
- Pick-up from your hotel around 7:30 a.m. Stop at the Taray viewpoint to see the Sacred Valley before continuing to Pisac.
- Visit to the Pisac archaeological site.
- We will cross the valley to Urubamba for lunch at a local restaurant.
- After lunch, we will visit the Ollantaytambo archaeological site.
- At the end of the tour, we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station to take the train to Aguas Calientes. A representative from the agency will be waiting for you with a sign with your name and will take you to your hotel.
- Meals: Breakfast and buffet lunch in Urubamba.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Day 3: Machu Picchu + Aguas Calientes + Cusco
- Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- Early departure to Machu Picchu. After breakfast, you will go with the guide to the bus station to take the bus up to the entrance of Machu Picchu (30 minutes).
- Guided tour of the Machu Picchu citadel with a private guide for 2 to 3 hours.
- Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, depending on your train schedule, you will head to the station to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then transfer to Cusco. We will drop you off at your hotel.
- Meals: Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Cusco.
Day 4: Cusco + Maras Town + Maras Salt Mines + Moray + Cusco
- Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
- Pick-up from your hotel at approximately 8:00 a.m.
- During the drive, we will enjoy mountain scenery with snow-capped peaks.
- We will visit Moray, a set of circular agricultural terraces that served as an Inca experimental center.
- We will visit the Maras Salt Mines, with more than 3,000 salt ponds that are still worked by local families.
- Return to Cusco around 2:00 p.m. We will drop you off in the city center.
- Meals: Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Cusco.
Day 5: Cusco + Cusipata + Phulawasipata + Rainbow Mountain + Cusipata + Cusco
- Hotel pickup between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. Approximately 2-hour journey to Cusipata for breakfast. We’ll continue for one more hour to the trailhead.
- The hike takes between 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Rainbow Mountain.
- You’ll have about 45 minutes at the summit to take in the landscape.
- 1-hour descent. Then we’ll take transportation to Cusipata for lunch.
- Return to Cusco around 5:00 p.m.
- Meals: Breakfast and semi-buffet lunch.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Cusco.
Day 6: Free Day + Transfer to the Airport
- Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
- Free morning to rest or explore the city.
- Transfer to Cusco airport according to your flight schedule.
