Machu Picchu and Sky Lodge Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Cusco + Minas de Sal + Moray + Urubamba + Pachar + Sky Lodge Adventure
- Your day of fun outside the city begins with hotel pickup in Cusco at 8:00 a.m. The first destination is Chinchero, a picturesque town about an hour away with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and corn fields. In Chinchero, you will enjoy a demonstration of handmade textiles created by local women using natural dyes.
- Next, we continue to Moray, known for its circular terraces that served as an Inca agricultural laboratory. After exploring the site and taking photos, we head to the Maras Salt Mines, just 3 km away. Here, more than 3,400 pools have been producing salt since ancient times.
- After a lunch with varied options, we travel to Pachar to ascend to the Sky Lodge capsules, where we will spend the night. An adventurous hike takes us to the transparent hanging lodge, where you will enjoy a gourmet dinner and breathtaking views of the valley and the Milky Way.
- Meals: Gourmet dinner in the capsule dining room.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Aguas Calientes and Sky Lodge – Capsules.
Day 02: Sky Lodge + Ziplines + Ollantaytambo + Train ride + Aguas Calientes
- Breakfast at the Skylodge.
- This day is truly impressive—you can wake up to an incredible view of the Sacred Valley from your glass room. Then, head to the kitchen to enjoy a delicious breakfast with a spectacular view. At the scheduled time, get ready to descend by zipline. Once at the base, our transport will be waiting to take you to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will board the Inca Rail Voyager class train to Aguas Calientes, the town near Machu Picchu.
- During the scenic train journey, the landscape will be part of the reward of this trip. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our team will be waiting at the station exit to take you to your hotel, where you will spend the night. After check-in, you will have free time to relax in the afternoon.
- You may choose to relax in the hot springs of Aguas Calientes or stroll through the picturesque streets of this charming town.
- Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Day 03: Machu Picchu + Aguas Calientes + Ollantaytambo + Return by train + Cusco
- Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.

From your hotel, you will walk a short distance to take an ecological bus for a 30-minute ride to the entrance of the Inca citadel. You will arrive just before sunrise, when the citadel is bathed in golden light.
- After marveling at its unique beauty and taking your first photographs, our expert guide will accompany you on a 2- to 3-hour guided tour of the site. You will visit all the important points of Machu Picchu and learn a great deal from your guide.
- When you are ready to leave, you will take the ecological bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will have time to choose a restaurant for lunch before boarding the return train.
