- Our first stop will be at Rumi Punku, which was one of the main entry points to Cusco during Inca times for all travelers coming from the Qollasuyo region. After an hour of travel, we will stop at the Combapata viewpoint, where you can enjoy its beautiful landscapes and, above all, observe the union of the Salcca River with the Vilcanota River, giving rise to the famous sacred river of the Incas.
- We will continue our journey to Yanaoca, one of the eight districts of the Canas province in the department of Cusco. Afterwards, we will continue our route for 30 more minutes until we reach the district of Q’iwe, where the last Inca bridge, Q’eswachaka, is located. It is built with vegetable fiber and has a length of 28.67 meters.
- After appreciating the first views of the Inca bridge, we will begin to descend the steps or stairs before reaching it. There we will have time to explore and cross it. After feeling the adrenaline of crossing the bridge, our guide will begin with an explanation of its construction process and use.
- After the visit, we will return to Yanaoca, where we will enjoy our lunch. After lunch, we will continue our journey and visit the 4 Lagoons Circuit: Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopia, and Pomacanchi. In this circuit, we will be able to appreciate a great variety of regional flora and fauna, as well as observe the rich Andean culture along the way.
