We end the day taking the train to Aguas Calientes, gateway to Machu Picchu.

JUNE 21: AIRPORT / QORICANCHA / SACSAYHUAMAN / QENQO / PUKA PUKARA / TAMBOMACHAY / CUSCO
- Your adventure begins with a warm welcome and transfer from the airport to your hotel in Cusco. After a brief rest, we’ll start the City Tour through the Imperial City, exploring its historical and cultural richness.
- The first stop will be at Qoricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun, a sacred enclosure for the Incas that still preserves vestiges of its greatness.
- We’ll continue our tour to the archaeological sites on the outskirts of the city. At Sacsayhuamán, you’ll admire its colossal stone walls and learn about its importance in defending Cusco. Then, we’ll explore Qenqo, a ceremonial center with labyrinthine passages, and Puka Pukara, a strategic fortress with reddish hues. To finish, we’ll visit Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water, where the Incas performed rituals in honor of this sacred element.
- We close the day at Cusco’s Main Square, an emblematic place that reflects the fusion of Inca and colonial architecture. Here you can enjoy the sunset in an environment full of history and culture.
JUNE 22: CUSCO / PISAC / URUBAMBA / OLLANTAYTAMBO / AGUAS CALIENTES
- We’ll start the day with breakfast at your hotel before embarking on our route through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be in Pisac, an impressive archaeological site located 45 minutes from Cusco. Here you can appreciate Inca architecture at its finest, with its agricultural terraces, temples and aqueducts that reveal the advanced engineering knowledge of this civilization. Additionally, we’ll visit the artisan market, where you’ll find a great variety of textile products, ceramics and unique handmade souvenirs.
- At midday, we’ll head to Urubamba, a fertile valley that in Inca times was one of the main agricultural production centers. Here we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch, where you can taste the best of Andean and Peruvian cuisine.
- In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that was an agricultural, religious and astronomical center. Its impressive terraces, stone constructions and agricultural warehouses demonstrate the strategic importance of this place in the Sacred Valley administration. Upon completing our visit, we’ll board the train to Aguas Calientes, the base town for our great Machu Picchu experience the following day.
JUNE 23: AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHU PICCHU / AGUAS CALIENTES / OLLANTAYTAMBO / CUSCO
- Today you’ll experience one of the most anticipated moments of the trip: the visit to Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. We’ll start early with the transfer to the bus station to begin an approximately 25-minute ascent to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary.
- Upon entering, you’ll immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of this ancient Inca center, surrounded by an impressive mountain range and green terraces that contrast with its imposing stone constructions. During the guided tour, you’ll discover its ceremonial temples, sacred precincts and agricultural terraces, learning about its importance as a political, religious and cultural center of the Inca Empire. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours, during which our guide will provide detailed information about the history, architecture and mysteries of this majestic citadel.
- After exploring Machu Picchu, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have free time to have lunch, relax in the thermal baths or stroll through the picturesque town. Finally, we’ll board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to take you comfortably to your hotel in Cusco.
JUNE 24: HOTEL CUSCO / QORICANCHA / PLAZA DE ARMAS / SACSAYHUAMAN / HOTEL CUSCO
- The day has arrived to experience Inti Raymi 2025, the most important celebration of the Inca calendar, which every June 24th pays tribute to the Sun God (Inti) on the winter solstice. This ceremony, which was performed in Inca times as a show of gratitude, continues to be presented today in Cusco’s most emblematic venues, being a unique event that connects the past with the present.
- The day begins with the transfer from your hotel to the Qoricancha Temple, where the first staging begins. Here, the Inca and his imperial entourage appear to perform the Sun Salutation, a moment charged with symbolism and tradition. Then, we’ll head to the Main Square, where the second part of the ceremony takes place, a representation of the connection between the Inca past and the Andean present.
- After this emotional staging, we’ll board our transport to Sacsayhuamán, where the main Inti Raymi performance takes place. In this imposing archaeological site, we’ll witness the ceremony of offering, adoration and gratitude to the Sun God, with dances, music and performances that evoke the splendor of the Inca Empire. From our reserved seats, you’ll enjoy every detail of this ancestral event, which lasts approximately three hours.
- After Inti Raymi concludes, our team will be ready to coordinate your return to the city of Cusco, ensuring a comfortable and safe transfer. Thus ends a day full of magical experience about the connection to Inca culture.
JUNE 25: HOTEL CUSCO / AIRPORT
- After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have free time to organize your luggage and prepare for the trip.
