TRAVEL DESCRIPTION
Discover Cusco and Machu Picchu by Train: with our 4-day Machu Picchu tour.
This all-inclusive tour package will allow you to enjoy the best of Cusco without requiring great physical effort. During 3 days and 2 nights, we will take care of all the tour logistics, so you only need to worry about enjoying yourself.
We will begin with a half-day City Tour, ideal for acclimatizing to Cusco. On the second day, we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas and connect with Machu Picchu. That night, we will stay in Aguas Calientes, the town located at the foot of Machu Picchu. On the third day, we will dedicate the morning to exploring the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco.
In addition to the tours and all entrance fees included, we also include accommodation in Cusco (You can opt for a higher category hotel if you wish).
PROGRAM SUMMARY
Airport Arrival / Cusco / City Tour / Cusco
On your first day, we will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will take the City Tour, visiting Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.
Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes
On this day, we will visit Pisac and its traditional market. After lunch, we will head to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco
We will wake up early to visit the hidden jewel of the Incas, Machu Picchu, and in the afternoon return to Cusco.
Cusco / Airport Transfer
We will have the day free before transferring you to the airport, concluding our services.
TRAVEL ITINERARY
Day 01.- Arrival in Cusco + City Tour + Qoricancha + Sacsayhuaman + Tambomachay
- We begin this day full of energy to start our City Tour, for which our staff will pick you up at your hotel with a warm welcome.
- Once ready, we will head to the Qoricancha Temple, where we will dive into part of the region’s history that will prepare us to visit even more incredible places.
- Next, we will head to Saqsayhuamán, one of the archaeological sites known for its megalithic constructions, where our guide will provide a brief explanation and you will have time to take those inevitable photographs.
- After visiting this site, we will continue to Puka Pukara, known for the reddish coloration of its structures. Here, you will learn much more thanks to our tour guide.
- Our last stop will be Tambomachay, where our guide will give the final explanations of the site, concluding this day of travel.

Day 02.- Sacred Valley + Taray Viewpoint + Pisac + Ollantaytambo + Aguas Calientes Village
- Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
- Your adventure with our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour begins with a warm welcome and pickup from your hotel at approximately 7:30 a.m. Together, we will head to the Sacred Valley, where we will make our first stop in Chinchero, one of the most popular towns in the region, famous for its rich textile history.
- After this enriching visit, we will continue our journey to Pisac. On the way, we will stop at the Taray Viewpoint to capture stunning photographs of the valley stretching below us.
- To recharge and continue our tour, we will head to Urubamba, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch with typical dishes from the region. We will savor the fresh ingredients and the unique flavors of Peruvian cuisine.
- With a full stomach and renewed spirit, we will head to Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress known for its monumental terraces, temples, and ceremonial water fountains.
- From Ollantaytambo, we will take a train on a picturesque journey of approximately 2 hours to the town of Machu Picchu, also known as Aguas Calientes.
- Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our attentive staff will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 03 - Aguas Calientes + Machu Picchu + Aguas Calientes + Cusco
- Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- On this day of our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour, the sunrise will be our reward in a majestic place. After breakfast, our tour guide will meet you and provide some instructions before accompanying you to the Eco Bus station. A short 30-minute ride will take us to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Inside the Inca citadel, we will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours.
- During this tour, you will feel the unique energy that this mystical place radiates and marvel at the architectural masterpiece of the ancient cultures that left us such an invaluable legacy.
- After exploring Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Machu Picchu by Eco Bus. There, you will have free time to enjoy a delicious lunch (not included). You will also receive final instructions from our guide regarding your train ride back from the town of Machu Picchu.
- Finally, our staff will be waiting near the Ollantaytambo train station to take you in our private transportation to the city of Cusco, dropping you off at the door of your hotel.

Day 04: Cusco + Airport Transfer
- Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
- On this last day in Cusco, you can take the morning to rest or choose to go for a walk around the city where we will visit the main squares, streets, and markets of Cusco. After a delicious breakfast, you will have the rest of the morning free to relax or explore. If you opt for the walking tour, you can visit the following places:

- San Blas neighborhood
- Stone of the Twelve Angles
- San Pedro local market
- This tour ends with your transfer to the airport, either in the morning or afternoon, depending on your flight details to Lima or another destination.
