TRAVEL ITINERARY
DAY 01: CUSCO + PISAC + URUBAMBA + OLLANTAYTAMBO + AGUAS CALIENTES
- We will begin the tour from your hotel in Cusco for a complete excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Throughout the day we will visit:
- We will explore the famous Pisac handicraft market, ideal for purchasing typical products such as textiles, silver jewelry, and ceramics. In addition, we will visit its impressive archaeological complex, which stretches along the mountainside with agricultural terraces, temples, and Inca tombs. From there, we will enjoy panoramic views of the valley.
- We will continue to Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley and an excellent agricultural area surrounded by majestic mountains. Here, we will stop to enjoy a buffet lunch with a selection of local and international flavors in a relaxed setting.
- In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last living towns of Inca origin. Its imposing fortress, with enormous stone terraces and sacred temples, reflects its military and religious importance. We will also stroll through its charming town, whose cobbled streets and original canal system transport us back in time.
- After visiting Ollantaytambo, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and take you to the Ministry of Culture to purchase your Machu Picchu entrance ticket for the second or third day (depending on availability).
- Meals: Buffet lunch.
