- On the day of the adventure, our team will greet you directly at your hotel reception in Cusco to begin the transfer in a first-class tourist vehicle to the Ollantaytambo train station. During this approximately 1 hour and 45-minute journey, you will travel through the heart of the Sacred Valley, admiring ancient agricultural terraces, authentic Andean communities, and the majestic mountain range that frames this legendary landscape.
- From Ollantaytambo station, you will embark on a panoramic train journey that winds through the Sacred Valley, following the course of the Urubamba River until reaching Aguas Calientes in about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
- Once in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), our certified specialist guide will welcome you at the station and accompany you to the eco-bus terminal. The 25-minute winding ascent along the Hiram Bingham road will take you to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where you will begin a guided exploration lasting 2.5 to 3 hours. You will have multiple opportunities to capture the iconic panoramic postcard from privileged viewpoints.
- After completing the exploration, you will descend again on the eco-bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the town. You may explore the colorful artisan market with authentic local products, relax in the natural hot springs (optional), or savor exquisite Cusco cuisine at the local restaurants.
